Daya raised Dover, Kazuki, Puff, and Oracle, and co-raised Manhattan. Her family – T.K., Avanthi, and Shriya – is helping, too. Family dogs Mikey and Bella as well as Smokey the cat all had a role in the upbringing of their guide dog puppies. The family has learned the difference between having a pet and having a guide dog puppy. They have assisted with puppy sitting, presentations, and events and are enjoying helping their puppies develop using the R+ techniques.
