Training was all about preparing our puppies for work with blind and visually impaired partners.
We not only held group sessions to help the pups with their skills but we traveled to expose them to situations that they may encounter later, such as bus and train rides, proximity to traffic, being in or near water, and being close to other animals.
Once a puppy is old enough it usually accompanies its raiser(s) on regular visits to places like markets, shopping malls, concerts, and congregations.
