All it took was a call from their granddaughter and Ed and Leader Pat drove from Los Angeles to Mill Valley to give a presentation about Guide Dogs for the Blind to Mrs. Carr’s second grade class at Edna Maguire Elementary School in Mill Valley. The presentation on November 22, 2010 was followed by a tour of the campus at San Rafael. After a general introduction, students colored a page from the GDB coloring book showing a blind woman coming to a curb with many distractions to be manoevered around while each student had the opportunity to walk Khaki, Pat’s guide dog puppy. Khaki enjoyed the exercise and was very sweet with the kids.
