L.A.Southwest traditionally attends the annual Holiday Carnival held at the Junior Blind of America campus in Los Angeles and Saturday, December 5, 2009 was no exception. Members, puppies in training, and Pet Ambassador Dogs turned out to meet children and their families and introduce them to the free services offered by Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Along with a visit with St. Nick, guests enjoyed holiday treats, games, crafts, prizes and toys. The Carnival was well attended this year and guests were treated to a visit from Stevie Wonder. Stevie sang several songs, mingled among the guests, and presented a check to JBA for $50,000. What a wonderful gift!
