L.A. Southwest Guide Dog Raisers is proud to be a contributor to the California Kennel Complex Renovation Project underway at the San Rafael campus. Our participation in this exciting project has been 2-fold: a designated donation was made to the central work station in one of the kennel runs and a second designated gift donated to name an individual dog stall.
On November 3, 2009 Guide Dogs for the Blind held an unveiling ceremony to honor donors to this important campus project. L.A. Southwest Leader Pat and Gail were present to witness the unveiling of the plaques and to take a tour of the newly completed kennels.
This entire project is funded solely through donations. L.A. Southwest has a dedicated fund raising program with our Official Recipe Book.
