This year, Buford School in Lennox, CA, held their annual Dr. Seuss Read-a-thon on February 27, 2009. Participants are invited guests from the Los Angeles area including businesses, clubs, philanthropic organizations, firefighters, theachers, and many others. L.A. Sothwest has has proudly participated in this event for seven years. Each year, L.A. Southwest and puppies read to the students, and then donate the books to the school library.
