This annual event, sponsored by L.A. Southwest, is always a much anticipated outing for both puppies-in-training and Raisers. This year on Saturday, June 8, 2008, Raisers and puppies headed for various Metro stops throughout Southern California where they would hop aboard the trains leading to Downtown Los Angeles, Union Station, and historic Olvera Street.
The outing gave puppies the opportunity to ride public transportation, complete with Saturday commuters, take time for a lunch break in a traditional Mexican restaurant, participate in training exercises, and generally have a great day.
