On June 2, 2007, L.A. Southwest Guide Dog Raisers and the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) co-hosted the 12th Annual “Guide Dog Puppies Ride the Rails”
for many puppy raising clubs. GDB Raisers and their pups, their families, and GDB staff come from Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Antelope Valley, and even Yuma, Arizona, to ride the MTA to El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historic State Park, commonly known as “Olvera Street.”
